North Dakota Republican Party Chairman Stan Stein made the following statement today regarding Mitt Romney’s choice of Congressman Paul Ryan as the Republican vice presidential nominee.
“I congratulate Mitt Romney on the bold choice of Congressman Paul Ryan as the Republican vice presidential nominee. Paul Ryan is a strong leader who understands what we need to do to restore the greatness of this country. While President Obama recklessly grows government and the national debt, the Romney-Ryan team provides the vision for America’s comeback. While Democratic Senate leadership fails to bring forth a responsible budget in more than three years, the Romney-Ryan team works to bring our nation’s fiscal house in order. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are the leaders that North Dakotans, and all Americans, need to get our country back on track.”
