Minot Area Hotel Information (Updated 2.25.14)
The 2014 Elections are shaping up to be another great year for Republicans. We have much to celebrate as a state – the lowest unemployment in the nation, an economy that is thriving in all industries, and Republican leadership that the rest of the nation is looking to model.
On April 4-6, 2014, delegates from across the state will gather in Minot to celebrate that success, as well as make some important decisions. We will endorse candidates for Congress, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Tax Commissioner, Agriculture Commissioner, and two Public Service Commissioners, and update our party’s platform and develop our message for the the upcoming election.
As Chairman of the NDGOP, I want to personally invite you to be a part of that process.
Your ongoing involvement is critical in shaping the future of our party, our state, and our nation – get involved today. Here’s how:
Step 1 – Find Your District
Delegates for the 2014 NDGOP Convention are chosen at the district level. If you don’t already know which district you reside in, visit the Secretary of State’s “My Voting Information” page. Enter your house number and zip code, select the correct street, and then click “My Election Districts” on the left.
Step 2 – Attend Your District Convention
From early February until Mid-March, each of the 47 districts will hold a District Convention to elect delegates to the State Convention. Make plans to attend your district’s convention in order to be elected a delegate from your district. You will need to have lived in the District for 30 days prior to the convention and be a member of the state party in order to become a delegate to the state convention. Contact your district chair and let them know in advance that you are interested in becoming a delegate. Then, check out our online event calendar and District Conventions page which contain a list of all currently known District Conventions (updated daily).
Step 3 – Complete the Delegate Registration Form
Congratulations on being selected as a delegate at your District Convention! The final step is to fill out the delegate registration form and send it in along with your payment, or register and pay online. You will receive the form and registration link from your District Chair when you are elected as a delegate or alternate. No registration is complete until the District Chair approves a registrant as a duly elected delegate or alternate from their district. NEW: Page Registration Form Now Available.
Don’t forget to make your hotel reservations, too. A list of hotels with “NDGOP” room blocks set aside is available HERE.
If you have any questions along the way, give your District Chair a call, or call GOP Headquarters at 701-255-0030.
Thank you for your interest in serving our party and our state!
