NORTH DAKOTA REPUBLICAN PARTY ELECTS NEW CHAIRMAN
Public Service Commissioner Tony Clark Elected Via Unanimous Vote
Bismarck, N.D.-The North Dakota Republican Party met Monday, July 26, in a general body meeting and elected Public Service Commissioner Tony Clark as its new Chairman through a unanimous vote.
"This election cycle presents our party the opportunity to put Gov. John Hoeven and Rep. Rick Berg in Congress and to assert fiscal responsibility in Washington DC," Clark said. "I am excited with the direction of the party and our crop of candidates, and look forward to working with them this fall."
The chair position had been temporarily occupied by Vice Chairwoman Carmen Hanson, after being vacated by Gary Emineth in July.
