Political Director - Eastern North Dakota

Job Description

This person would direct all day to day operations in the Fargo, ND Republican Headquarters including but not limited to:

-          Organizing and implementing a strong fundraising plan

-          Developing a vital campaign organization and strategies for legislators as well as Statewide candidates

-          Managing and coordinating a daily communications strategy, using multiple forms of established and new media

-          Organize a strong Grassroots presence in the region through volunteer recruitment and engagement of community members in preparation for the 2010 elections  

-          Organize, manage and oversee GOTV efforts for all upcoming elections

An ideal candidate would have the following experience:

- Local and national grassroots campaign organization

- Strong written and verbal skills

- A background in political fundraising

- Experience organizing local political events

- The ability to work with a variety personalities and candidates

This person would report to the work closely with the ND GOP headquarters in Bismarck, ND and would also work closely with the Administrator of the United Republican Committee of Fargo
